Street parades or 'Shobha Yatra' are a regular affair in multicultural India. Loud music, dance, bright lights, caravan of open trucks carrying Idols, and hired 'actors' dressed up like God's Goddesses. A photographer's delight!

Most of them are very open to being photographed, but it's always good to politely ask before you start shooting 🙂..

When talking landscape / Nature photos:

1: Pick the right time of day (usually sunset or sunrise)
2: Pick a spot a day before (you will not have much time looking for a good place as the light changes very fast)
3: Keep the horizon level. You could also correct this in post
4: Composition is a matter of personal choice. Here, i have picked a spot which shows the water body curving dynamically across the frame with a strong foreground...
