कहीं से भी मना लो... प्रवाहमान समय किसी भी बिन्दु से मापना शुरु कर दो, उसका नामकरण कर दो... कोई विक्रम से, कोई ईसा से, कोई नानक से, कोई कहीं से भी करे...एक आंकड़े के मुताबिक, दुनियाभर में 96 तरह के कैलेंडर हैं। अकेले भारत में 36 कैलेंडर या पंचांग हैं। इनमें से 12 आज भी चलन में हैं। 24 चलन से बाहर हो चुके हैं। दुनिया में जितने कैलेंडर इस समय चलन में हैं, इनमें से ज्यादातर के नए साल की शुरुआत फरवरी से अप्रैल के बीच होती है।
