SHARING HER PAIN
I went to document the flood afffected area, but due to pandemic I was unable to go out so I started documenting my near by area. Though it was a rural area so media was unable to reach here. They know me as I was from near by area so when I reached there with my camera they can't control their emotion. While documenting this lady can't control her emotion and cried out after seeing me then started to speak about how she and her two little childrens have not eaten anything for two days. So through my photography I had tried to share her emotion with the outer world.

ODISHA 2020 (FLOOD)

Flood in some parts of Odisha is common. But this time it went viral. Upper part of the Odisha observe heavy rainfall due to which Hirakud dam at Sambalpur opens up 46 gates which makes the situation worst. Thousands of villages with lakhs of people were affected, some had lost their life. Some were evacuated to safe place and some to the cyclone shelter. At some places people stayed hungry as they had no option to cook, at some places they can't even find a place for toilet so they took the help of wooden boats to move to the place where they can do so. They stayed in such situation for more than three days.

Year 2019 sharp 20 year since 1999. 1999 a black year written in the history of Odisha and the reason was super cyclone. After 20 year on 3rd May again a heart breaking gift gifted by the nature. And this time as "Cyclone Fani" . This time the loss was not that high but who ever lost had losed it forever. Fani made its landfall near Puri, Odisha. It made a loss of Rs120 billion in property, had taken many lifes and lots have been injured.It made the trees lay on the ground. It left many homeless and starving. It washed the shore and left suffering, tear in eyes and pain behind.Still in some parts trees are struggling to stand, peoples are building roof for hideout and somewhere someone is struggling to feed his/her stomach. @ Odisha
