It was our 10th morning safari! And we finally came head to head with Tara. We first saw her walking on the road to Dumdamah Naala from there she headed to Chataipath and that is where this shot was taken. She was patrolling & marking her territory and using the Flehmen Response to scan about for any intruders.

Some moments you wait for so long, you forget you even wanted them. And then, suddenly...without expectation, it happens.

This is Sidhbaba male, emerging from the shadows near Jamuniya. Tracking his father Bajrang in looks and in boldness. Still living under his father’s territory, biding his time to make his move.

This summer belonged to Tara. We gave her our mornings, our evenings, our patience and she didn't disappoint. She is a mother now, a new litter hidden somewhere in the forest, she moves differently. Bolder. Sharper. On board

White sand beneath her, raised in her shadow. He tests the limits of the one who made him.

This is Chakradhara Sr with one of her four cubs. Soon they will leave her and venture out to claim their part of the jungle.
