Story for the series :

I was in my hometown during Holi when I heard about a celebration happening inside a temple where people play Holi with flowers and gulal. I went there without knowing what exactly was going to happen. When I entered, it felt very calm and spiritual. Kirtan was going on, people were praying, and everywhere I looked there was devotion in the atmosphere. Children, women, and devotees dressed in white were completely immersed in the bhakti of Lord Krishna. The whole space felt magical in a way that is difficult to explain through words or pictures. Slowly, the energy inside the temple started changing.

People began dancing, colors started filling the air, flowers were being thrown from every direction, and within moments the entire place turned into pure chaos and celebration. It was beautiful but also very difficult to shoot because there was movement everywhere and barely any space to stand still. In the middle of all that noise and chaos, I tried to look for simple moments. Instead of only capturing the madness of the festival, I wanted these frames to hold the emotions, the layers, the connection between the children, the presence of Radha, the split between light and shadows, and the colors blending into the atmosphere.

This series is my way of showing how even inside chaos, simplicity can still exist, and how a photograph can carry not just a scene, but the feeling and soul of a moment

EID Morning ...

....

Eid mornings don't start when the sun rises.
They start when the city is still half asleep, when the sky is dark, and the first footsteps of the day belong to those who are walking back from prayers.

By 4 in the morning, the market begins to breathe. Vendors arrive with their flowers, baskets, and hope. Stalls are arranged in the faint light of street lamps. The air is cool, quiet, and full of purpose.

As the light slowly changes, people start filling the streets. Some come to buy flowers, some for vegetables, some just to be part of this Eid morning that carries a different peace. An old man walks with calm steps, a woman carries her list in her mind, a vendor waits for his first customer.

By 10 AM, the market is awake. The noise is louder, roads are crowded, and the festival feels visible in every face. But between 4 and 10, there is a different story. A story of devotion, preparation, hard work, and quiet humanity.

These are the moments I love to photograph. Not the celebration itself, but the life around it. ✨️🌙

Story behind series :

Some photographs happen slowly.
You walk, observe, wait and suddenly the frame starts building itself in front of your eyes.

Morning in Shivaji Nagar felt exactly like that for me.

I went there to observe human gestures, emotions, and silent interactions through everyday movements.

While walking through the market, a red car caught my attention. Moments later, a young enter ina tge frame pulling a vegetable trolley entered the frame, and the connection between his red shirt and the car suddenly made the frame feel complete.

As I started photographing him, I noticed more than just movement.
His eyes, his expressions, the way he looked at people staring at him, the way his gestures changed while moving through the crowded street.

At one moment, he looked directly at me.
Not posed. Not staged. Just curious.

That became my favorite part of this series.

I never stage my photographs. I simply document what naturally unfolds in front of me. And during those few minutes, I felt like I was capturing more than just a scene, I was capturing quiet emotions hidden inside an ordinary morning.

In the middle of the rain.

Story :

Somewhere on the road from Varanasi, the rain had slowed everything down.

We stopped our car near a small dhaba, holding warm cups of chai while waiting for the weather to calm. Around us were people searching for shelter, trying to escape the rain for a while. And then, through the curtain of falling water, I saw them.

An old couple, slowly riding a bicycle from far away.

The man was pedaling steadily through the wet road while the woman sat behind him, quietly holding an umbrella above them both. They were completely drenched by the weather, yet untouched by discomfort. No rush. No complaints. Just two people moving forward together.

At that moment, I realized something.

Inside my car, I had comfort, shelter, and every possible convenience, yet I had stopped because of the rain. But they didn’t stop. Maybe because when life gives you the right person beside you, even storms start feeling lighter.

I didn’t have my camera with me that day — only my phone. So I stepped out from the dhaba, walked towards the road, and captured a few frames before they disappeared into the rain again.

What stayed with me was not just the image, but the feeling.
The quiet understanding between them.
The invisible support.
The simplicity of togetherness.

Sometimes, love is not loud.
Sometimes, it is just someone holding an umbrella while the other keeps moving forward.

Beaufiful moments ...

Gear :

During a recent documentary shoot in the villages of Tamil Nadu, I found myself slowing down even before the cameras officially rolled. While my team and I were out on a recce, I captured a few frames that quietly spoke about something we often overlook in our everyday lives.

In the rush of city life, everything feels fast, urgent, and overwhelming. But here, in these villages, time seemed to move differently. There was a sense of calm woven into the simplicity of daily living, even with the presence of technology slowly finding its way in.

I met people from different walks of life, sat with them, spoke to them, and listened. Despite their financial struggles, responsibilities, and the chaos that exists in its own form, there was something incredibly grounding about them. Their smiles, simple, genuine, and unfiltered, carried a kind of warmth that felt rare. It wasn’t about having everything, it was about living every moment fully, even the smallest ones.

The way they cared for their cattle, the quiet rhythm of their routines, the connection they shared with their surroundings, everything felt raw, honest, and beautiful.

It made me realize something important. Life itself isn’t fast. It’s our restless, chaotic minds that make it feel that way. In chasing bigger things, we often forget to pause and notice the small details, the ones that actually hold the most beauty.

Maybe happiness has always been in the simple moments. We just need to slow down enough to see it.

There are moments in life when everything pauses

Not the world it keeps moving, loud and restless but something within us becomes still. We drift into a loop of thoughts, searching, questioning, trying to connect with something deeper inside.

Sometimes, it happens in the middle of chaos at a bus stop, on a street, or during a celebration. We sit, we stand, we look around yet we are not really there. Our eyes may be fixed on the ground or lost in the sky, but our mind is somewhere far away.

These two images come from such moments.

In the first frame, captured during Durga Visarjan, I tried to create a connection between light and the human subject through the electric wire, almost like a silent reminder, a spark, pulling him back into the present moment.

The second image was taken at 3 46 AM in Bangalore. A woman stands still, staring at the ground for a long time. Behind her, a soft complementary light creates a quiet contrast between the world outside and the thoughts within. It was a moment of stillness I could feel even before I captured it.

Sometimes, we are surrounded by everything yet completely lost within ourselves.
