The Hornbill Everyone Is Talking About.

This Oriental Pied Hornbill has been making headlines in Delhi’s birding circles.

Not considered a resident of the capital, this individual at Lodhi Garden has been observed feeding Indian Grey Hornbill chicks nesting in a tree cavity—a rare example of cross-species care.

Photographed today at Lodhi Garden, carrying the shell of a Giant African Land Snail against the backdrop of the very nest cavity associated with this remarkable behaviour.
