Election results in Kupwara District were a total letdown. The people there really missed an opportunity by not choosing Sajad Lone. They essentially betrayed him and, more importantly, themselves. Sajad Lone was the candidate who could have brought the much-needed development to the district and propelled us forward. Instead, they opted for Rashid Engineer. While he's not a bad person, he simply lacks the political experience and vision that Sajad Lone possesses.

This decision leaves Kupwara lagging behind every other district in Kashmir. We had the chance to close the gap, to finally see some progress, but now it feels like we're stuck. It's frustrating and disheartening to see our potential squandered. What a disaster... I am baffled and deeply disappointed.
