The lake next to my home and close to my heart! once a majestic lake became victim of Bangalore’s unsustainable growth. Now on its path back to its original glory.... this is a pic from my evening ride on its banks. Waiting for the day when sun sets on its waters!

Tahoe is a freshwater lake and second deepest (501 meters) in United States formed around 2 million years ago. It's water is said to be 99.994% pure almost close to commercial distilled water

Kayaking over such a clear water was an experience beyond words. And as an Indian it's my birth right to take a dip in holy waters. I did, even when it froze every inch of my body!

It's not named GRAND just for the sake of it. The Canyon is 446 km long, up to 29 km wide and attains a depth of close to 2 km

I didn't realize its vastness from the top. A walk down though the canyon opened my eyes. Nearly two billion years of Earth's geological history have been exposed as the Colorado River and its tributaries cut their channels through layer after layer of rocks. There is nothing else I could do other than standing mesmerized!

Mustang! Its crude and cool at the same time. A pony convertible that's so fun to drive. When car is so good looking why wouldn't we raise the bar!

Just a normal pic? No! It's the expression of an Indian tourist who got free supply of drinks at a famous bar in Las Vegas and didn't know when to stop.

A regular night in Vegas is already so colorful and dreamy. But when you get high its a different world all together. Link to the reality just gets disconnected. The lights, the glamour, the fountains, the people.. ufff everything looks so alien. Its so easy to loose one's senses. (I didn't, my wife was right next to me :P)

Vernal Fall is a 317-foot (96.6 m) waterfall on the Merced river. A short but steep 2 km hike through mist trail will get you to this beautiful waterfall in the Yosemite National Park, California

Capturing birds in camera frame is my favourite photography outing. People watch me doing that consider me crazy. Why not? A grown man laying on ground, crawling like a lizard won't be consider normal in any social etiquette!

But I don't mind, for me getting connected to that beautiful little chirpy thing is more important. It's meditation! When my lens focuses on its eyes after hours long effort, there is a sure connection.... with the universe!

Yes! They are cute. In California they will even sit on your lap if you allow them.

But wait! You might be inviting bigger trouble doing that. Squirrels are well known carriers of plague. They have extremely sharp nails and teeth and there are multiple instances of attacks on humans. Feeding squirrels is considered animal harassment which can subject you to fine up to $1000. Anyways why would you get them out of shape feeding your junk food!?

Take my generic advise, next time when you see something cute and beautiful maintain safe distance and appreciate :P

The Pacific Coast Highway running next to the ocean is considered to be the most beautiful driving destination in USA.

Midway is 17 mile drive near Pebble Beach, home to several famous golf courses and high net worth individuals.
Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is the oldest amusement park, operating continuously since 1915. It houses a still running wooden roller coaster and a carousel which are almost a century old!!

More than cities, I love towns in United States of America! That's were the ideals of "New World" still exists.

We stayed in a town named Merced for few days. It's beautiful, well planned and more importantly filled with obedient citizens. Never a stranger crossed us without a smile or a greeting. Everyone knew the rules, how to respect others and keep the city clean. During our stay we metamorphosis-ed ourselves into them. No joke, it felt so good!

Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco Yes, it’s not gold but instead a deep and beautiful orange. The Navy proposed this color scheme to help make the bridge easily visible for passing ships, especially in San Francisco’s famous fog which is very obvious in the pics!

The bridge is named after the Golden Gate Strait, which is the entrance to the San Francisco Bay from the Pacific Ocean. When it was built, the Golden Gate Bridge spanned 4,200 feet and staked its claim as the longest suspension bridge in the world. @ Golden Gate Bridge
