since years, fashion has been a part of lifestyle. people tend to follow the latest fashion trend in order to mingle with society. even sometimes an individual is judged from their fashion taste, or simply we say, their style. a style represents what kind of person one is and what kind of group they belong to. how? well. we can say that someone belongs to the edgy group or others, by looking at their outfits, their shoes, their dress, their hairpiece and so on. for eg. if we see someone wearing a pencil skirt, a stripped shirt, a bold belt and a pointed high-heels, we can conclude that a person is a determined person and a perfectionist, and belongs to the career-woman group. another eg., when we see someone wearing layers-by-layers outfit and putting shocking colors on it, we can say that the person is expressive, and loves to do experiments in the style and belongs to korean fashion style mixed with Japanese style.

Celebration of Ganesha Festival in Bangalore, India and The Raghu Dixit Project live Gig are synonymous to each other. The Band is one of the most successful folk rock bands to come out of India. On September 8th, their power packed, jaw dropping and emotional concert of the Ganesha festival took place at DVG Road, Gandhi Bazar, Bangalore. Basavanagudi

With a gathering of over 5000 people, Raghu Dixit project are one of the first folk rock bands to blast through the barriers and play all over the world. It was a high-octane performance, captured before a wildly enthusiastic crowd, and served as further proof of the power and electricity the band brings to the stage!

An essential Japanese Festival, "Tanabata" is held on the seventh day of the seventh month and represents the legend of Orihime & Hikoboshi, the names of 2 stars depicted as lovers who have an opportunity to meet only once a year. there are quite a few incarnations of the story behind Tanabata, however the most prominent recounts the narrative of the weaving princess & the ocw herder, sweethearts who were transformed into stars by a detestable sky king isolated by the milkyway and condemned to meet just once a year. The Japanese commemorate Tanabata by throwing parties with seasonal food and drinks, and writing their wishes down on pieces of paper which are then tied to bamboo branches. If the Sky on the night on 7th july is clear and you can see the stars, it is believed that your wish will come true.

with Taabata just around the corner on July 7, Japanese towns everywhere are going to burst into life with festivity. Here in namma Bangalore, I wish I could be in Japan strolling around the local Tanabata festival in a light and breezy Yutaka, writing wishes on tanzuka and placing them on the wish tree, while sampling sumptuous food that the Japanese do oh so well.
