On the occasion of the Founder’s Day that is celebrated on the 6th of January, Dr. P. Shyama Raju explored his philanthropic side and distributed winterwear and other gifts to the needy students of the Government School, Sathanur. The celebration was embarked with prestigious award ceremony where PADMA VIBHUSHAN, GANA GANDHARVA SHRI. K.J. YESUDAS, Celestial Singer bestowed with the most prestigious REVA LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD. After receiving the award, he proceeded to address the audience on the importance of education, world peace, social responsibility and healthy lifestyle. Renowned Actor, Director & TV Presenter. Shri. Ramesh Aravind marked his presence at the Founder’s Day of REVA University. He received the “REVA AWARD OF EXCELLENCE”. In his address note he connected with the audience instantly and motivated them to understand the importance of Saying yes to right things at the right time which in help one to grow. The final moment of the program was highlighted by the address of Dr. P. Shyama Raju. In his quintessential manner, he explained the importance of social responsibility and the need to work and perform better to maintain a high standard of professional and personal life. The event ended with a grand celebration of the Founder’s Day.

Festive session at REVA University has begun at with LIT 2017 (Lighting of Two Thousand & Seventeen Diyas) The event was graced by the presence of Hon'ble Chancellor Dr. P Shyama Raju, REVA University, who himself lit the first diya and fortified the message of sound free Diwali, followed by Dr. S Y Kulkarni, Vice Chancellor, Dr. N. Ramesh, Director Planning. All the Directors & Principles, Faculty members and Students participated in the festive celebration with great enthusiasm and zeal.
