6degrees is the culmination of the dream that three different people from different parts of the country saw together. United by our shared passion for photography, this was only a matter of time, that we come together and turn this dream into reality. We have a shared history of street photography, means each frame captures a slice of life, tells a story and celebrates the familiar and the unfami
liar. About the photographers:
Neeraj Barnwal - Neeraj is a storyteller and a perpetual traveler. He finds stories in small mundane things which would otherwise go unnoticed. A background of street photography gives him a keen eye to capture those blink-and-miss moments. He began photography in 2009, when travels to Singapore and Hongkong gave him ample opportunity to capture the pulse of new cities. His photographs have been published on the national geographic website and auctioned to support several social causes. For more of his work look at http://www.flickr.com/nbarnwal
Barath Krishnan - Barath began photography as a hobby only soon to realize his eye for a creative detail and artistic bend. Barath started photography to compliment his travel across India and abroad which provided opportunities interacting with other photographers understanding different photo styles and nuances. His in-house creative pictures are critically acclaimed. He loves photographing Nature and people alike as these two make a beautiful combination. Barath lives in Bangalore and frequently visits Chennai. Ramnath Siva - Ram’s interest for photography took root in college, but jumped to the next level while studying at the Chicago Photography Center. In 2007, he returned to India and embarked upon travel around the country and the world to capture ‘uncliched’ images of the places and people. He credits these nomadic forays with heavily influencing his photography style. He currently resides in Bangalore (India). While not entirely minimalistic, Ramnath believes in capturing the essence of a scene or object and leaving out extraneous distractions. He has exhibited his works at various international galleries and has been published in art and travel magazines. We can be reached at [email protected]
