Amid Humans...
An early morning scene in KR market.

You wake up at 5 AM. Realize it's a bit early and snooze again just to see that it's 530 now. You rush to the bathroom to relieve yourself and since you might visit a temple you take bath in the cold water and pat yourself for being so good.. You drive the TVS excel super for 7 kms amid the lake road. You climb up 600 steps thinking at each step when it's going to end. You clock it in 20 mins and feel happy that you are still fit though you know your waist recently clocked 36. You see handful of people waiting for the sun with their hands raised holding their iphones and droids. You see sun to be the same size of tennis ball. You see yours is not only SLR. You move away. You walk further on top the mountain. You enjoy the wind, you close your eyes and hear the wind talking to you. You see westerners doing their the yoga; you say to yourself not to look at the girl. You walk further, now you know you are alone. You turn back; the wind is still talking to you; You see your tree and sun waiting for you over the horizon.

Summer break ...

Friends at Z point.

Flickr says the photo is dated 1 May 2006. It's almost 8 yrs since this was taken. My entire friends gang on our first trip to Kemmangundi. A lot has changed since then. I am digressing..

The place Kemmangundi is in Chickmagalur district, Karnataka. There is only one government guesthouse/bungalow on top of the hill, but you should book that. It's a great place to be with friends. There are lot of small treks possible,esp to Hebbe falls.
The photograph was taken at Z point. A View point that gives a superb sunrise. Try to wake up early, the walk in dark is good too.
And as the sun rises with gentle breeze you would definitely want to sit among the grasses to relax, just like us...

Brick klins at Veerapandi.

People preparing the mud and feeding it to the machine. Machine compresses it and makes it like a smooth cake bed which are then sliced to brick sizes.
