A Ferris wheel blazing in colour, daredevils in a car tipped mid-ride in the death well, riders enjoying themselves on a swing. At 50-120mm on APS-C (roughly 75-180mm equivalent), the lens pulled in close on faces and details without ever leaving the crowd, while the constant F2.8 aperture and optical stabilization kept every frame bright and steady after dark. Light enough to carry through an entire evening at the fair, and ready for both photos and video.

Sigma is pleased to announce the ”Sigma 50-120mm F2.8 DC OS | Contemporary,” a telephoto zoom lens for APS-C cameras, covering from approximately 75mm to 180mm in 35mm equivalent terms.

Pursuing both a broad range of angles of view and outstanding portability, it condenses uncompromising sharpness and close-up capability into a palm-sized body. This new option from Sigma aims to draw the greatest possible mobility out of an APS-C system, and will be available on Thursday, October 22, 2026.

Flamingos gather in the wetlands of Mumbai, bringing in the Pink Season. Flocks so vast and massive, complemented only by the crowds of enthusiastic onlookers and birdwatchers. captured a flamingo ready to take off, freezing the exact moment its feet leave the surface with the Sigma 60-600mm F4.5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports.

You wait for hours to get a glimpse of the face you so deeply missed for a year. Then your turn comes, and it all hits you, the magnificent architecture, the beautiful sculptures, the nostalgia of all the years you’ve been here before, yet the embrace still feels as warm as it did. Sarthak captured a similar scene from a local gathering with the Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN Contemporary.

Letting the illuminated shrine hold its detail. In contrast, the sea of devotees stayed readable in the foreground shadows. Fast and compact enough to move through the crowd, this Contemporary lens handled the mix of warm shrine lighting and dim street shadow without losing the mood of the evening.
