✨ Capture the Magic of Diwali with Stunning Landscapes! ✨

Here's another Diwali-related post (I am already so excited), the festival of lights, brings endless opportunities for capturing breathtaking landscapes. The glow of diyas, the warm hues of evening lights, and the serene reflections create a magical atmosphere. Check out these tips to elevate your photography this Diwali:

📸 1. Play with Reflections:
Capture the mesmerizing reflection of thousands of diyas, just like in this image. Look for rivers, lakes, or even small puddles to amplify the effect of the lights.

🌆 2. Use Low Light to Your Advantage:
Diwali evenings are all about soft, glowing lights. Ditch the flash and use a slow shutter speed to capture the subtle glow of the candles and diyas, balancing exposure to keep the warm tones.

🌙 3. Experiment with Wide-Angle Shots:
Show the vastness of the celebration! Use a wide-angle lens to include both the illuminated water and the beautiful architecture or skyline in the background.

🌠 4. Focus on the Details:
Highlight the diyas floating on water or the textures of the lit-up buildings. Zoom in to bring the viewer closer to the magic.

Bonus Tip:
Bring a tripod for sharper shots in low light and enjoy capturing the spirit of Diwali in all its glory!

✨ Capture the Essence of Emotions Through the Lens ✨

Diwali is just around the corner, let your photography reflect the raw, unfiltered emotions that light up the world around us. From the quiet joy of reflection to the celebration of culture, this portrait of Indian women beautifully captures the spirit of the festival.

🪔 Photography Tip:

Focus on Expression: To capture genuine emotion, make your subjects feel at ease. Whether it's joy, wonder, or peaceful contemplation, emotions shine through when the moment is natural.

Play with Lighting: Soft, ambient lighting enhances the emotional depth in portraits, as seen in the photo. Diwali’s traditional diyas create warm and captivating glows, perfect for bringing out your subject’s features.

Candid Moments: Sometimes the best shots aren’t posed. Try to capture your subjects when they’re immersed in the moment — the results will feel more authentic and powerful.

Celebrate emotions, traditions, and the beauty of this festival through your lens. Let every frame tell a story! 🎇📸

It is in the ghats of Banaras that you can see the cycle of life and death being repeated everyday!
Many people think they cannot have knowledge or understanding of God without reading books. But hearing is better than reading, and seeing is better than hearing.
Hearing about Banaras is different from reading about it; but seeing Banaras is different from either hearing or reading 🕉️

It's time to sit home and look at the world slow down. Unfortunately it's quarantine time and the world is suffering, businesses are effected and millions of jobs are at risk.
It's time to take this time to do things we could never do, like get back to our fitness routine, take better care of your family, spend more time with your family, learn something new.
It's a storm and it shall pass, all we need to do is hold on, hang on and things will get better. Amen.
Take care, stay safe 🤗

There's a special spot for people I met as a young child who knew nothing about life and they were the ones who made it so special 😇
