Salaulim Dam was built on the salaulim River in Goa was opened in the year 2000. It is said that the whole of South Goa gets its drinking water supply from here. The dam is a spectacle to witness, its architecture is mesmerising! To witness the water plummet 50 feet beneath you from a river is something! One of the lesser known places of Goa. When I had visited in November 2019 there was nobody there other than our group and ofcourse the dam personnel. We had a peaceful visit and got to spend quality time with a beautiful view and cool breeze.

This photo was clicked at the Menezes Braganca House located in Chandor, Goa India.

It's a 17th century Portuguese style Mansion considered a historical place and maintained like a museum and is filled with antique furniture, art, and other historic artifacts. For people who are interested in architectural styles and interior designs of that time I think a visit to this place will increase you love for Goa and also for anybody who is looking to explore the real Goa instead of just the hype around 2 or 3 beaches alone. Goa has lot of beautiful places to see explore and get mesmerised.

The second-highest plunge waterfall of India, Jog Falls is a major tourist attraction in Karnataka. Located on the border of Shivamogga and Uttara Kannada districts of Karnataka, Jog waterfalls is the highest waterfall in the state.

Also known as Gerosappa Falls or the Joga Falls, these falls are one of the most important attractions in all of South India. Second, only to the Nohkalikai Falls of Meghalaya, Jog falls drops about a huge 253 m (850 ft. ) in a single fall. However, due to the construction of Linganamakki Dam the flow in the falls is hugely restricted before monsoons.

I've been Chasing Sunsets all my life and everytime I sit on a hill by the ocean looking at the setting sun it takes my breath away, each and everytime! The colors, the peace, the wind around, and finally the sun touching the ocean in the horizon and mixing it's light into the ocean.. simply beautiful.
