A moment between a mother and her foal in the vast grasslands.
Guidance, comfort, and a quiet lesson in survival passed without words.

In the wild, every step the young one takes is shaped by her presence.

Short-eared owl locked in a ground-level stare, blending into open grasslands with effortless camouflage.
A master of low flight and silent hunting, this species thrives in wide open habitats where patience decides survival.

Those piercing yellow eyes are not just watching, they are calculating every movement.

An Asiatic lion stands in measured stillness, every line of his frame carrying authority shaped by the wild.
No display. No urgency. Just awareness and control in its purest form.

In Gir, survival is not about noise. It is about knowing when to move and when to simply exist.

Black Panther, a rare sight where shadow takes form.
The elusive panther moves silently through the forest, perfectly adapted to disappear into its surroundings.

Melanism gives this leopard its striking dark coat, but the rosette patterns are still there, hidden beneath the light.

Moments like these are not just sightings, they are earned.

Welcome to a new series - Real+AI, where I bring 100 of my wildlife photographs to life through AI. Each post will show you the original shot first, then watch as it transforms into motion, breathing new life into frozen moments.

What started as a single click of the shutter now moves, breathes, and tells a deeper story. Join me on this experiment as we explore the intersection of wildlife photography and AI technology.

This is 7/100, 93 more to go.

Spotted Deer

Reaching just a little higher. A spotted deer stretches on its hind legs to browse fresh leaves, showing the delicate balance between effort and reward in the wild. Moments like these reveal how even the most graceful herbivores constantly adapt to make the most of what the forest offers.

Portrait of a puffball. A Puff-throated Babbler perches briefly in the shadows of the Western Ghats, its streaked plumage catching just enough light to reveal the intricate details. These small, energetic birds are easier heard than seen—always on the move through the undergrowth.

The Western Ghats are a biodiversity hotspot, and photographing the smaller inhabitants here requires a different kind of patience than tracking big cats or elephants. This Puff-throated Babbler gave me just moments before disappearing back into the dense foliage.

What I love about this shot is the intimacy of it—the clean background isolating the bird, the soft light highlighting every feather, that characteristic alert posture they always hold. Babblers are incredibly active, constantly foraging and calling to their group, so catching one still enough for a clean portrait like this feels like a small victory.

The Western Ghats hold so many hidden gems like this. Sometimes the smallest subjects make for the most rewarding photographs.

A Blue Tailed Bee Eater perched momentarily while others streak through the air behind it. These aerial hunters are specialists in catching bees and dragonflies mid flight before returning to the same perch again and again.

One of the most vibrant and elegant birds commonly seen across grasslands and wetlands of India.
