Wherever in forest our goal is to search for tigers but during that journey we do come across some beautiful moments which we love to capture.... This is an early morning shot in Kabini when this peacock was sitting beautifully on this fence giving us a beautiful photo opportunity.

"The Peep" -One of my favourite shot from my latest trip to Bandhavgarh.... Sometimes the tiredness of the wait is forgotten by the spectacular shot we get.... Waited long for Bhem(tiger) to walk towards us but just then he sat to drink water. And had to wait for some more time for "the peep" to happen and capture this as a fond memory in my camera...

Not the ideal of condition for photography as it was shot during mid day but I love this shot because I love the habitat.... It was shot when the tiger finished drinking water and was walking towards the grassland giving us some last minute looks.... I love Bandhavgarh because of the beautiful landscape it offers....

This is a very special shot for me simply because of the patience, wait and "willingness to sacrifice" attitude that was required for this. It was during the golden hour in the evening when we saw Dotty(tiger) coming out in the open, drinking water (which we couldn't see due to tall grassland) and then going off inside the forest which lead to others going after her so that they can spot her on the road if she comes out. And just then we saw this tiger waiting on a elevated area where we could hardly see him. Right then I knew that this is what I want to wait for rather than going after Dotty. And it nearly took around couple of hours just to wait for this tiger to come down to drink water. And it was nearly evening when all other jeeps went away did we see this gorgeous tiger coming down the elevated area and drinking water.... It was a sight worth waiting.

This was from my first safari when we got an extra day as we landed early. Over whelmed after witnessing a kill we were coming back to our resort and was suddenly stopped by this beautiful tiger (Dotty). It was a sudden encounter when we saw her walking right upto us and then crossing the road and walking off to the grass land giving us a short photo opportunity.

Continuation from my recent update that I spoke about of witnessing a kill in Bandhavgarh.... Where the tiger gets up from the grass and jumps on a sambar and makes a kill... This is taken when it starts pulling the sambar giving me a great photo opportunity...
