Somesh Maurya(CSE 2016) NEEDS OUR HELP FOR HIS MOTHER.
As i am forwarding this message so that we can contribute as soon as possible .
My mother, Rajeshwari Maurya is suffering from paravalvular leakage with infection in lungs and body with recurring VTs and AFs. This means she can only breath with the help of tubes inserted in her body, has an irregular heartbeat and infected blood. She also had multiple occurrences of seizures in past one month. She had been admitted to Divine Heart and Multispeciality hospital in Lucknow on 1st November 2019 and the condition worsened to an extent that the doctors in Lucknow gave up. She was urgently flown in an air ambulance to Mumbai’s Asian Heart Institute where she is currently on a ventilator with tubes in her lungs to aid breathing and strong drug doses to maintain her heart beat.
Cost
The cost of medicines and treatment is 80,000 INR per day. We have already run out of insurance amount of INR 5 lakhs in Lucknow itself and there was a cholecystectomy operation too which costed 1.5 lakhs. Further, we had to admit her mumtiple times in past two months. I have currently taken bank loan of 8 lakhs to fund the treatment. However this will not be enough and I am still finding it hard to make ends meet with my savings depleting exponentially in an attempt to ensure my mother gets the right treatment. Currently we don’t know how long the treatment will go on for as these infections may take upto 15-20 days or even more to heal. She also needs a final surgery( valve replacement redo) which costs about 8-9 lakhs given her fragile condition.
How can you help

We as a family desperately want to put in every possible effort to give her a second chance at a healthy and happy life with us.
