PROUD OF THE MIZORAM POLICE📍📍

Recently, students across India have come together to hold peaceful protests over the NEET paper leak. Mizoram too, witnessed such peaceful demonstrations. The manner in which the Mizoram Police managed these protests and carried out their duties has earned praise even from people outside the state, who regard their conduct as exemplary. Hearing such words of appreciation fills me with immense pride and joy as a citizen of Mizoram.

What touched me the most was that our protests remained truly peaceful. There were no incidents of violence, vandalism, or attempts to create unrest. The protesters exercised their democratic rights with responsibility and discipline, while the Mizoram Police discharged their duties with wisdom, patience, and professionalism. Such conduct has undoubtedly become one of the greatest reasons why Mizoram continues to earn respect and admiration.

This did not happen by chance. It is the reflection of the values and principles passed down to us by our forefathers and deeply rooted in our culture and way of life. As a Christian-majority state, let us continue to uphold the virtues of peace, love, mutual respect, and harmony.

Even when differences of opinion arise, may we always choose peace over conflict, dialogue over hatred, and unity over division. By doing so, Mizoram will continue to stand as an example for the rest of the nation. Our true strength lies not in violence, but in peace, discipline, and mutual respect.

I am truly proud of the Mizoram Police. My heartfelt hope and prayer is that whenever peaceful protests take place, they will continue to set an example worthy of emulation for police forces across the country.
