A trip to Nayagarh and back to Bhubaneswar is a 250 km of drive of colours and pure bliss within them. Ranapur, which is on the way to Nayagarh from Bhubaneswar, is a quiet hillock with temples amongst dense forests and streams.
The city is followed by Nayagarh, Saranakul and Odagaon. These places are adorned by brilliant temples encompassing extremely pious air, each serving as a vault to history and culture of the country. The beauty of Raghunath Jew at Odagaon justifies that of Baidehisa Bilasa, the Magnum opus of Kabisamrat Upendra Bhanja, widely known as the first poet of Odia language.
It can be assured that a trip to the places can be a weekend gate-away to an amalgamation of beauty, history and rich culture. Check out for yourself...

The amalgamation of traits, steps, music, instruments created divinity at the short listed ved Konark Festival this year. The stunning backdrop of the Konark temple with the lightings were absolutely magical. The sand art by maestros were like perfect architecture of life in the wild. Konark festival seems to be a very underestimated function, which needs to attention of everyone in this planet with even little penchant for art and culture. This festival defines India in her divine form, every culture and tradition that makes her. One who wants to taste piety must visit this festival, to bask in the glorious art forms which has shaped our civilisation.

Qutb Minar,at 73 metres, is the tallest brick minaret in the world. In 1200 AD, Qutb al-Din Aibak, founder of the Delhi Sultanate, started construction of the Qutb Minar. In 1220, Aibak's successor and son-in-law Iltutmish added three storeys to the tower. In 1369, lightning struck the top storey, destroying it completely. So, Firoz Shah Tughlaq carried out restoration work replacing the damaged storey with two new storeys every year, made of red sandstone and white marble. In 1505, an earthquake damaged Qutb Minar and the damage was repaired by Sikander Lodi. On 1 September 1803, a major earthquake, possibly in Garhwal Kumaun Himalaya, again caused serious damage to Qutb Minar. Major Robert Smith of the British Indian Army renovated the tower in 1828 and installed a cupola to the top of Qutb Minar. The cupola was taken down in 1848, under instructions from The Viscount Hardinge, then Governor General of India and was installed to the east of Qutab Minar, where it rests now.
Before 1974, the general public was allowed access to the top of the minar accessed through a narrow staircase. On 4 December 1981, 45 people were killed in the stampede and there were 300 to 400 people inside the minar at that time that followed an electricity failure that plunged the tower's staircase into darkness. Most of the victims were children because at the time school children were allowed free access to historical monuments on Fridays. Subsequently, public access to the inside of the tower has been stopped.

Girls are as human as anyone else. They have the same anatomy, with some changes , which if nothing makes them better than the men. They are very powerful beings with immense perseverance and patience to love and care for their owns irrespective of any other factor. They go through immeasurable pain and sufferings to create a life and endure its presence, a feat achieved only by the Gods. They deserve to be revered and respected, if not like the Gods , at least as fellow human beings.
Take care of them as daughter, love them as beloved, respect them as mother.

In this time of tension between two neighbours who infact share a common ancestry, this album is intended to remind the people of these great households of the past for which they have fought, won and thereon built their present, their present in which they participate in each other's celebrations and create a future with sustainable peace and cooperation. The Golden Temple,Amritsar stands as a reminiscence of their common struggle in the past against the oppressive forces and the independence functions at the borders (Faridkot in this case) signifies the brotherhood that exists between the soldiers due to their passion to serve humanity. It should never be forgotten that both the houses are born from the oldest civilisation of humanity and will end with the extinction of human race. The wall in between have been created by us and can also be demolished by only us.
