I take a flag to every family photoshoot these days… not as a prop, but as a quiet declaration

78 years young, and still something we are learning, building, protecting, and loving every single day.

In fields, by the Kinneret or the sea, in forests and under open skies, wrapped in blue and white… there is something deeper than a photograph. There is story, resilience, and belonging.

Happy 78th birthday to our miraculous, complicated, beautiful home 🇮🇱

Mazal Tov to the wonderful Arkovitz family, who despite the fear and stress of Israel being under attack for over three weeks, celebrated the Bar Mitzva of Lavi in the most beautiful and dignified way! 🌸🥳🤍🇮🇱
The guidelines due to war allow for limited gatherings in public areas, so the Arkovitz’s simply made two kiddushes on Shabbat, so that they could welcome everyone!
And their big hearts did not stop there. I actually only heard about this from my neighbour, an initiative that the family preferred to keep quiet. They baked cakes and delivered them with flowers to the wives and mothers of soldiers in Mitzpe Netofa. A small gesture, but one that speaks volumes about who they are. ❤️
