Lightkeeper Studio Capturing the frame between things. Street photography, digital prints, and ebooks.

I am an Israeli based Russian photographer “in-between” places, between Russia and Israel, between languages, between childhood memories and everyday life. Whether by coincidence or not, I believe my photography exists in a similar space − between documentary and staged images, between darkness and light.

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about slowing down — about photography as a way of paying attention, not collecting images.

Over time, I found myself gravitating toward a quieter way of working,
and eventually joining a small collective built around
intentional practice, observation, and shared reflection.

This guide grew out of that space.
It’s not a technical guide.
There are no photographs inside — intentionally.
Only exercises meant to help you develop your own way of seeing.

The work is now available.
