Hi, I’m Yossi Schori - a fine art photographer & digital artist.
I create imaginative scenes using toys, dolls, miniature objects, animals and nostalgic elements from my childhood. For me, toys become actors, full of memory, emotion, humor, and imagination.
My artwork combines photography, still life, toy photography, and digital collage. Some images are playful, some surreal, some nostalgic, all are created with passion and curiosity.
Over the past years I developed a colorful world filled with dogs, cats, plush toys, miniature figures, kaleidoscopes, and dreamlike landscapes generated with AI and edited in Lightroom & Photoshop. I love turning small everyday objects into magical moments.

The year 2023. A year in which I tried to touch on topics such as the killing of animals, connecting cultures, self-identity, animal connection, duplication and the integration of artificial intelligence. In addition to dealing with studio lighting and natural lighting.

Year 2022. It was a year in which I set myself new challenges. Photographing wooden toys underwater, photographing visual effects (e.g. rain, confetti), long-exposure photography.
A year in which the series "Underwater Dreams" was awarded in Neutral Density Photography Awards, with honorable mention in fine art (photo manipulation category) and was exhibited at the “Ben Ami” gallery group exhibition in Tel-Aviv.

Year 2020. The year that started the Covid-19 pandemic. Something that brought back my passion to create, to return to my art after many years of break.
I started taking pictures of a chair and shoe on my iPhone 11 Pro Max, but returned to my initial connection to toys and dolls. From painting to photography. First I shot with an iPhone camera and then with a Canon 80D camera that my parents bought me.
A tough year. Feelings of loneliness, anxiety, uncertainty, hope, friendship and passion were mixed up.

Digital artworks from 1998 were made with softwares: Animator Pro, Painter and Photoshop, using my Wacom Intuos 6×8 Tablet, UMAX scanner and Video Capture.
I created an imaginative world rich in eroticism, surrealistic characters, aliens and undersea creatures.

Black & white photos I took when I was a student at "Kalisher" school of art in Tel-Aviv, 1993.
I kept all of the stuffed animal toys I have, back then, with me in my home.
