For the fourth and last day of Meteor sessions, we had the incredible Trio of Piris Eliyahu. Born in Derbent, Dagestan, Piris Eliyahu carries into his music the rich meeting place of Caucasian, Persian, and Middle Eastern traditions. Piris’s music is a meeting of ancient Eastern traditions and contemporary expression, shaped by the rich, haunting language of maqam. His instrument, the tar, is a delicate Persian string instrument whose warm, resonant voice can feel almost like a human soul speaking. Hearing it so close in the intimate room of מועדון הג'אז במצפה רמון was a rare kind of beauty—quiet, mesmerizing, and deeply alive. It was a joy to listen, and a privilege simply to be there.

The third day of Meteor sessions festival in Mitzpe Ramon hosted the unique band of Yonathan Avishai. Shahar Haziza , Yonatan Albalak and Rony Iwryn created together with Yonathan amazing and diversed atmosphere. It was a real pleasure to hear such unique grooves and sounds—so fresh, bold, and original. Truly amazing and inspiring to experience. After the band started the daily jam session with Lia lewis , נמרוד לוריא • Ni**od Lurie 🪐 , Yaakov shveka and idan plozner it was @😍😍😍 . Another festival day at מועדון הג'אז במצפה רמון

יום 2 של פסטיבל סשן המטאורים ב- מועדון הג'אז מצפה רמון - Mitzpe Ramon Jazz Club מביא לנו את המוזיקה הנפלאה של Ido Kilemnik מתוך האלבום הראשון והחדש שלו, “Esprout” – מוזיקה פשוט מדהימה! כל כך הרמונית, יפה ומרגיעה.

עידו הוא בוגר Internal Compass, המכון שנמצא ממש כאן במצפה רמון. כמה מדהים לראות אנשים שהתחילו את הדרך שלהם כאן צמחו במשך 3 שנים והתפתחו בצורה כל כך יפה! מסקרן ומרגש לעקוב אחרי הדרך המדהימה של עידו.

הלהקה השנייה היא – צמד מדהים שיוצר על המקום מוזיקה חיה, מרימה ואנרגטית, ממש מסיבה! היה כל כך מרשים לשמוע מוזיקה כזו שנולדת ומתעוררת לחיים ממש מול העיניים.

שבוע בסיני. איזה מקום מדהים. פעם ראשונה אחרי כל כך הרבה שנים של מסעות בעולם שנסעתי לשם.
אני מרגיש כאילו גיליתי עולם שהיה כאן כל הזמן. אירוח מושלם של Sabah yasmina camp !
היו לנו שמונה ימים נהדרים, נסענו יחד עם יוני וג׳ול חברינו היקרים

“Mar adentro” or “The Sea Within” by Jorge Chairez is a piece about the sea-that vastness within, nature, love, and life. It has been with me for several years, ever since I started playing music.
Jorge taught me a classical piece on the piano that was a prerequisite for attending school. It was the first time I had ever played the piano, and I still can’t believe I was able to do it. Thanks to him, I found my way to three unforgettable years here at the Music School Internal Compass Music in Mitzpe Ramon.
Featuring the incredible Guy Amsallem on electric guitar, נמרוד לוריא • Ni**od Lurie 🪐 on piano, my friend איגור IGOR on double bass, and Yaakov shveka on drums.
