אז מה אפשר לעשות עם כל המים האלה? ישראל מתייבשת – אבל גם לא יודעת לאגור את מי הגשמים. האיילון, הירקון, כל הנחלים עולים על גדותיהם. המון מים זורמים עכשיו לים. אחר כך יגידו לנו שאין מים, ושחייבים להעלות את מחירי המים.

בכנסת הבאה אמשיך להיאבק על הצעת החוק שלי "איסוף מי גשמים" שמבטלת את האיסור על אגירה פרטית של מי גשמים; על הפרדת מערכות הביוב ממערכות ניקוז מי הגשמים; על מערכות איגום מים שיאפשרו לאסוף חלק גדול יותר ממי הגשמים, להחדירם לקרקע, ולהשתמש בהם.
