This majestuous, symmetrical, neoclassical structure is the Pontifical Institute Notre Dame of Jerusalem Center. Formerly known as Notre Dame de France, built at the end of the 19th century by the French Assumptionists. In 2004, Saint John Paul II, entrusted the Pontifical Institute Notre Dame of Jerusalem Center to the Legionaries of Christ and today it servers both local Christians and pilgrims from all over the world.

Built in the 19th century, French monastery of St. Vincent de Paul is a Catholic charitable institution with an orphanage, a department for the blind and a school for the mentally ill operated by the "Filles de la Charité" nuns, of Father Vincent de Paul.
