Palladium is a process from 1873. You coat the paper yourself,
with a brush, and then you wait.
I went to Maine to learn the technique. I came home with a
different question — what deserves to last?
A palladium print survives two hundred years. Which means you
don't print everything in palladium. You print what you want
still standing when you're not.
This tree, holding on over the water, was the first one I chose.
Learned at Maine Media with Tillman Crane. Thank you.
