Right now, you’re all together.
Maybe it’s the first time in years or the only time this year.
The kids are out of school. Work emails are on pause. You’re not rushing between carpool and dinner and laundry and meetings.
Instead you’re here. In Israel. With the people who matter most.
But soon, everyone will return to daily life.
To different cities. Different homes.
The baby will reach new milestones.
Your son will shoot up three inches.
Your parents will quietly age, one holiday at a time.
Life moves forward. Always.
But this moment, this rare, beautiful pause can be held onto.
That’s what photos do.
They let you come back to the feeling.
To the sunshine on your kids’ faces.
To your father’s hand resting on your shoulder.
To the way your daughter lit up when she ran through those Jerusalem streets.

It’s not crazy to think that one day, this little boy might walk these same streets and take some very similar photos to commemorate his Bar Mitzvah!
But for now, he’s here in his parents’ arms—wide-eyed, 8 months old, taking it all in.

This session wasn’t just about beautiful photos in Jerusalem. It was about pausing time during a trip they’ll never forget—capturing the beginning of a story they’ll return to again and again.

It started with an idea, a stunning location, and a camel that had absolutely no respect for personal space. 😆

This shoot was all about embracing spontaneity and creativity—taking an idea and turning it into something tangible *fast.* Exploring my homeland in a way that felt unique and fun.

And a shoutout to .d for assisting and filming bts, for the gorgeous makeup and for being an absolute star—posing gracefully while a very curious camel tried to get in on the action. 😂

There are many different beautiful traditions I’ve seen to mark a Jewish boy’s 3rd birthday. Some call it a upsherin and some call it a chalake, for many, a boys 3rd birthday also marks his first haircut 💇 . For this special boy we journeyed around Jerusalem to get special blessings and share the occasion with prominent and holy Rabbis. What a beautiful and spiritual way to celebrate ✨

I feel like this occasion is one of the more unique celebrations that has the most different traditions amongst different people and I love to document these beautiful memories and share in the different experiences 💙

Forget the souvenirs. A Photoshoot in the old city is definitely the best thing you can bring back from your trip to Israel and it doesn’t take up any space in your luggage 😅
