It’s early. Too early for most people. But for a rare few, these empty roads are alive with opportunity.

All my love to everyone who turned out for our very first Spin Theory event yesterday at Russborough House.

Spin Theory is something that’s sat in the back of my mind for the last two years or so. An event designed to gather my friends from all over the country and place an amazing selection of cars in some incredibly unusual places.

What better way to kick things off by parking 40ish modified machines from the 80s/90s/00s in front of a house that was originally built in 1755.

My DMs are full, my jacket is still wet but my soul is full from chatting with all you wonderful fu***rs!

Another three thousand kilometres. The same Pajero, similar journeys but a very different story. Since the last video, the Pajero’s been back with Brian at Old Timer Automotive for a bit of refinement. Nothing too major — just the kind of work that keeps a thirty-year-old diesel tickin’ over.

Brian fitted a fresh set of injectors, a new radiator, and a fan shroud which I sourced direct from Mitsubishi Japan. Whilst he was under the bonnet he tidied up a few oil leaks that had been marking their territory under the jeep for the last few months. While it was there, I also asked him to wire in a pair of LED spotlights on the rear. Something practical — not flashy — but properly useful. They’ve been a huge help when I’m loading up a trailer late at night, working from the back of the jeep, or even just reversing down an unlit road in the middle of nowhere. Around the same time, I had Brian install a basic independent water temperature gauge into the centre console, right where the old inclinometer used to sit. The 4M40 in these Pajeros has a bit of a reputation for running hot and warping the head, and with some towing on the horizon, I wanted a better idea of what was going on under the bonnet.…

17 minutes of Cruz Drift Invitational glory is now live on the YouTube channel!!

Kartworld in Watergrasshill has a very particular kind of noise in the morning. Engines echoing off the rolling hills, trailers trudging their way into the paddock, and that mix of race fuel, damp Irish air and half a box of ci******es that probably isn’t good for your lungs. I’d been looking forward to the Cruz Drift Invitational from the minute I got the invite from Gavin. It wasn’t just another drift day on the calendar; it was always going to be one of those events that I wasnt going to miss……

Style Is A Mindset is now live on the channel if you want to check it out!

If you saw last weeks post of the livery I laid down on Dawsons super cool IS200 then you might have seen a AE86 lurking in the background. Davids car is one I know well but one I hadn’t seen in a long time. My time away combined with a blown engine and a complete aesthetic overhaul meant its been nearly 4 years since I set eyes on this beauty. The last time I saw it, it was outside Tadghs place and it was Blue/Navy in colour.

Since that, it’s seen a makeover courtesy of .autobody and some improvements to the 4agze under the bonnet, the car now being powered by 200hp worth of supercharged angry bees under the bonnet…..

Drifting the Loop with JDM Classics is now live on the channel ><

If there’s one place that consistently delivers chaos, good craic, and the odd mechanical tantrum, it’s the back loop at Mondello Park. It’s raw, tight, slightly sketchy, and for some reason, it’s always where the best stories come from. So when JDM Classics IRL announced they were taking over that bit of tarmac for a day of skids, I had the gear packed before I even finished reading the post.

And listen, I’ll be honest—I love the back loop. It’s just scrappy enough to keep you honest, and the flow when you get it right feels unreal. Plus, it forces drivers to actually drive. Two long straights to gather your thoughts, with big speed entries coming at you like they’ve got something to prove.
