Agnes Codd specialises in creating timeless and memorable images of people and places. Agnes works from her studio in Rosbercon, New Ross, Co. Wexford.

Biography:
Agnes grew up on a farm in Rathnure, Co. Wexford and has always loved country life and nature. From an early age she has been interested in photography. At the age of fourteen she received her first camera as a gift. She began photographing people, nature, trees and the landscape and also did her own developing and printing. In 1984, she started her career as a professional photographer

and for sixteen years ran a studio in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary doing portraiture, weddings and commercial work before returning to New Ross. Agnes has a very artistic mind, with a great eye for detail. Photography gives her the freedom to be very creative, producing beautiful and timeless images. Agnes’ images grace the walls of homes and businesses across Ireland and abroad. Irish Home Thoughts:
Over time Agnes has built up a large collection of images of Irish life which evoke memories for people, especially those who have moved abroad, away from home, family and friends. It was from this that the concept of ‘Irish Home Thoughts’ was born.
