A few weeks ago we visited the clay pits outside Ballyhalbert in County Down and saw many 7 spot ladybirds and one 22 spot ladybird. It's lovely to see so many of them this year. 🐞

At the start of July a few of us headed to the Saltee Islands off the south coast of County Wexford for a day. It did not disappoint. We saw thousands of seabirds! Here is one of the many photos that I took. A puffin getting hit by dirt thanks to another puffin doing a bit of digging in the burrow.
