Out and about yesterday, scored some brilliant waves along the west coast and got a few phone shots too! The sunset was so beautiful, such an amazing landscape!

Shot taken on the way into Westport a few weeks ago. Edited lightly in Affinity Photo. Slight tilt shift, upped the vibrance a bit and adjusted shadows. Very excited about our tours next year, details to follow on the website.

First post of 2017, lat year my photography work took a back seat whilst I was busy with my wine bar. This year I am opening my Wild Atlantic Way Photography Tours gallery space (6 Brewery Place, Westport) and will have my tour dates up soon. New photo courses coming up soon also. All dates will be up in mid February. Thank you and a peaceful and prosperous new year to all my friends, fans and customers alike.

Portrait of Doo Lough. Here's an image that was shot on my phone. The old adage; 'the best camera is the one you have with you' rings true here. In fact the HTC10 is my go to camera these days as it gives me so much fun and I generally always have it with me. I really enjoy the mobile editing processes that technology has opened up for us all. This was given a number of edits, in both apps and the big guns of photoshop and lightroom. I'm still playing around with this image too. To me the art of photography is one where you enjoy the creative journey. It's great to capture a moment in time, a reference point to shared experiences or simply to remind ourselves of the vast array of experiences, cultures and emotions here on planet earth. Hope you enjoy it, more of my work along with the editing processes involved will e going up on the WAPT website real soon...
