Bloody Foreland Point (also known as Cnoc Fola)

Cnoc Fola, or 'The Hill of Blood' suggests that this was the site of some ancient Celtic battle. However Bloody Foreland takes its name from the way in which the setting sun enhances the natural red of the granite cliffs.

📍Gola Island - Gweedore, Co. Donegal

One of the nicest islands ive travelled too in a long time. You travel to this island from Magheragallon Pier on a Ferry which operates 7 days a week. After a 10 minute smooth journey across the water, you land in this stunning remote location.

Not only does it have many beaches and secluded bays but is also a haven for artists, birdwatchers, photographers, walkers and rock climbers. The landscape here is breathtaking.

If you happen too be in Donegal this summer, its well worth a day trip!

Murder Hole Beach, County Donegal 🌊

The home of cliffs, hills, dunes, small waves & dangerous currents. An absolutely stunning beach all the same. Definitely one of Donegal's best. Great day for it too, the new pathway is great, super steep, trust me😂 but worth it when you get there!

Sliabh Liag, Co. Donegal 🏔

These cliffs are known known as the highest accessible sea cliffs in Europe reaching a height of 1,972 feet/601 meters, is almost twice as high as the Eiffel Tower in Paris and nearly three times the height of the famous Cliffs of Moher in County Clare.

Stunning spot. You can walk ontop of the cliffs aswell as shown in the second photo, brave though cause it was super windy... so respect to them!😂 Great spot for photos though, even on the journey towards it from Donegal Town passing through the nearby towns around the Wild Atlantic Way. Just class.

Grianán of Aileach is probably the best known monument in Inishowen, County Donegal. Situated on a hilltop 250m above sea level the view from the stone fort of Aileach is breathtaking. Surprisingly i got no winds flying the drone up here! It was so calm. Definitely one... if not the most impressive fort ive seen around Donegal 🇮🇪

Took these ones with the camera for a change! what an island. The steps down to the cliffs is just unreal, like something out of a movie. Can't wait to get back here and shoot some more over summer.
