Midsummer light catches a waterfall on the north coast of the Faroe Islands. The coastline here is just jaw-dropping. The highest vertical seacliffsin the world are find here. The waterfall in this image is at least 400ft high and the cliffs in the distance probably two thousand feet. Shot with a 500mm lens from several miles away on the north tip of Kalsoy.

Granni waterfall in Iceland. Got throughly soaked getting to and from this spot. Granni has a much bigger neighbour called Haifoss and the path to Granni passes right through the blast of spray from its plunge pool. Haifoss is really impressive, but I preferred this spot.

Some images from a mid-summer trip.to Iceland this year. These were all captured in just four days between the Highlands and the south coast. I got some luck with weather but also the 24hours of daylight means lots of time get things done - if energy levels can keep up! The variety of terrain and subject matter in Iceland is unmatched. Volcanoes, rainbows, ponies, puffins, crazy abstract aerials.

A few images from my photography workshop on Achill Island 3 weeks ago. We had amazing sea conditions throughout with 20-30 seas and light(ish) winds. Such incredible coastal scenery out here. Our base on the south coast was so close to the action too.

I have dates up on my website for next years workshop.
