When I woke this morning my phone was abuzz with rumours about an Aurora Borealis display; I managed to snap this picture at 05:01 just as I was embarking on my morning commute!

Would have been an extra special treat for my client if they had this sky in their first shots of the day... But by the time I got to Tipperary it was bright, and grey, and foggy. Truth be told I like photographing fog, too.

It was an unexpected privilege and great honour to be invited to Dublin Castle yesterday to celebrate the Inauguration of Catherine Connolly as our new President!

But not as great of a privilege as it is to know that we are blessed to have a President of outstanding moral integrity and goodwill who Raise Our Voices from the Áras an Uachtaráin for the next 7 years.

All the best to President Connolly as she embarks on her term!

A historic ending to a historic campaign. Congratulations President Catherine Connolly!

Michael D. Higgins has served us as an exemplary spokesperson and I have no doubt that Catherine Connolly will be a laudable successor, fulfilling her role as our representative with courage, grace, and dignity.

Bioluminescence in Skerries! 🤩

Nature is magic. This one has been on the bucket list for a long time. Sometimes you have to travel the world to visit its wonders, sometimes with a bit of luck or patience they come to you!

I know the video quality is not great, I do not pretend to be a professional videographer by any means! ...And it was dark. But it was too magical not to grab a video of, and too neat not to share!

Delighted to hear that one of my BTS stills from “In the Opinion of the Censor” has been chosen as a Finalist for Best Cinematic Image at the 19th Waterford International Film Festival.

John Kelleher's “In the Opinion of the Censor” is a feature length documentary on the history of film censorship in Ireland. In the photo John Kelleher, Ireland's last ever Film Censor and first ever Director of Film Classification takes center frame in the historic Stella Cinema in Rathmines, surrounded by members of his crew left-to-right; AC Donnagh Fitzpatrick, Co-Producer David Power, Co-Writer and Director Andrew Gallimore, and DoP Kevin Minogue.

The 19th edition of Waterford International Film Festival will have live events on the 15th and 16th of November 2025 and online events continuing until the 22nd. The overall winners will be announced on the 16th.

Additional thanks to Director Lydia Monin, the rest of the doc crew, and of course Stephen Byrne of WIFF.

Just a few of the photos I shot across the weekend at the inaugural Féile Vegan - Ireland's first dedicated Vegan festival! Lisnavagh House and Gardens was the perfect setting for the festival with camping, glamping and cottage style accommodation. A family-friendly, animal-friendly weekend full of great music, informative talks, engaging performances, uplifting wellness sessions, woodland nature, kindred spirits, and of course delicious Vegan food!

It was a jam-packed three days and there are plenty more photos where these came from including musicians, performances, food, and art installations - I won't leak them all as I know these will be valuable to the organisers next year as they build up awareness of Féile Vegan 2026!

I had the pleasure of creating this set of images for the opening of her clinic in Skerries. My goal was to capture the expertise, professionalism, and care that Dr. Greskiv provides her patients.
