Wedding speeches. Some love them, some dread them, but i have to confess, they are one of my favourite parts of a wedding. I love hearing the stories, and the thank yous and the compliments and the clinking and the expressions of embarrassment or joy or sadness or pure love. So this is me standing up with my glass, raising it to all the brave souls who stand up, gather their courage, and make this lovely tradition what it is. The Rine

When I was young I wanted to become a florist. We took a trip out to commercial flower fields once and I realised just how much work it was and quickly reconsidered careers - but now, as a photographer, I get to enjoy the beautiful creations of the talented florists around me and I can’t help but take (and post) bouquet photos. I don’t think I’ll ever grow out of my love for beautiful flowers. .doolin

This was a huge challenge! He didn’t want her to know I was taking photos of the proposal… until the next day! And the Kilkee cliffs or gorgeous but there is no where to hide. And I only went and did it!! She didn’t catch on until he showed her the photos the next day! So, want to know what I did? I brought my daughter along as camouflage and pretended to do a photos session with her while shooting over her shoulder 😏 And cheeky me actually walked over all casual like and asked if they’d like me to take a photo of them & email it to them later! I asked him to write down his email so I could take a photo of it and instead he wrote “Well done”. I think we were all on cloud 9 that day. What a memory!

On the brightest day of the year, with magic in the air, these two began the next chapter in an international love story that I only just got hints of. But I have a feeling it is an incredible one. They were so euphorically happy that it just pulled me in and I don’t think I even noticed the time passing. It is a rare and beautiful thing to be a witness to such love

The mist that day made it feel like we were the only ones in the world. In my mind, when I need a few minutes of peace, I close my eyes and picture being on the top of the Cliffs of Moher, the wind blowing, the mist rising, the distant crash of the waves. It’s what centers me. And it is always, always a joy to photograph love in that place.

What a gorgeous reel put together by one of the most amazing brides ever! I loved photographing this wedding so so so much. A local church and then on to the fabulous for photos and fun. Such a memorable day. Happy anniversary!!
