A fantastic Tuesday evening at Estuary Sessions with the brilliant Southern Cross providing the outside entertainment before Erin Fornoff accompanied on various instruments by Patrick O’Laoghaire, Oisin Walsh-Peelo and Dominic Mullan, performed We are an Archipelago.

It was fair to say a great evening was had by all and one to be remembered!

An Fear Marbh in the distance as the waves crash in the aftermath of Storm Amy

Finally getting around to editing a few shots from a last minute trip to Di**le to catch the end of Storm Amy.

Something a bit different in that I don’t usually post in black and white. An incredible days shooting with crazy light and conditions.

I could not return to Connemara without paying a visit to see Pine Island, even if it was well after sunset I decided I’d fire off a a few long exposures, this being one of them.

There’s something about here and having the place to yourself (except for the guys in the car that were stuck in the bog below the viewpoint waiting to be rescued😬) that just draws you in.

Found myself just standing there for ages admiring the view in near total darkness at the end
