I'm sure i'm not the only one that can not wait to give their family a big squeezy hug! Seeing my nieces and nephews in their gardens is not the same as wrapping my arms around them until they are kicking to get free!

Some of you may be lucky enough to hug your loved ones everyday. If your reaction is, 'NIAMH, MY KIDS HAVE NOT LET ME HUG THEM SINCE THEY WERE BABIES!', my response is, 'THE WILL IN MY STUDIO!". 😉

I am DELIGHTED to be FINALLY making this announcement...once more! The Photo Lounge will be back open on the 10th of May!

I have to say, last week’s announcement brought up a lot of different emotions, but in the end, excitement was the winner. It will be an adjustment after 4+ months of not being in my studio, as I choose to focus on personal projects during this lockdown. I wasn't the only one that redecorated, right?

Still, I am SOOOOO ready to meet all the new babies that have been born (I dream of the day where I can give them all little cuddle once again). I also can't wait to see how much my customers’ kids have grown since I last saw them! And, of course, I look forward to welcoming all my new customers whom I am yet to meet face-to-face to The Photo Lounge.

I hope you all got the opportunity to see some of your loved ones this Christmas! These are two of the special people I got to spend time with this Christmas, Nanna Claire and my niece Saoirse.

There are many more I wish I could have spent time with. I long for the day where I can go to my niece and nephew's house, Jess and Joey, and have a sleepover! My nephew Joey told me I can sleep in his big boy bed! We used to have sleepovers a few nights a month...how has it been this long. Knowing that they will happen again is what keeps me going. I want nothing more than to cuddle on the couch, under a blanket, and watch Frozen! This time, I will definitely sing along!

2021! I am so ready for you.

Even though I am delighted 2020 is over, there was certainly a lot of personal and professional growth. If I had not closed the door to my studio on multiples occasions in 2020, I don't think I would have had the mental space to dream bigger. I would still be taking each day as it comes, instead of planning and setting goals that will push me.

I have three primary goals for 2021, can anyone guess the first? Hint: it is related to the female entrepreneur course I am currently halfway through with the DCU Ryan Academy.

Despite the pandemic, I got to meet lots of new beautiful families, and welcome back some others. I can't wait to meet many more in 2021!
