Mammy having a good natter on the phone, catching up on all the news and making sure she has her lifts arranged for mass while her grandson scrolls his phone, probably checking the football results. I love the contrast in this quiet little moment.

Honoured that this quiet everyday moment has won an award in the first collection of awards. With almost 4,800 images submitted, 52 images were chosen for awards. 🎉🎉🎉

Still holding on to Christmas, not ready to let go yet! I was going to take the decorations down today but my girls wouldn’t hear of it. They said it was depressing enough going back to school and then to come home to no twinkling lights was just a push too far. 😀✨ Anyone else feel the same?

Well this was an unexpected surprise to get this morning, to say I’m in shock is an understatement!!! I’ve just been awarded Ireland’s Family photographer of the year 2025 for and ranked #39 in the world 🤯🎉🎉🎉

To be recognised by a community I admire so deeply means the absolute world. It’s a real pinch me moment and it’s going to take a while to sink in! I think a few celebratory drinks are in order 🥳🍾

A huge thank you to all the wonderful family’s who have welcomed me into their world and trusted me to photograph their families in a real and honest way. A special shout out to my own family who put up with me constantly taking photos of our family life. I hope someday they will cherish those ordinary everyday moments as much as I do.

Finally thank you Alan Law and for creating this wonderful and inspiring community of photographers where we get to celebrate real moments, real stories and the magic of everyday life ❤️✨
