Portugal photo dump from a couple weeks ago 🇵🇹

For the past few years, I’ve been spending my winters in Portugal, mostly chasing big waves in Nazaré.
At the beginning, it wasn’t easy… I’ve never been a fan of cold weather or freezing water.

But little by little, it grew on me.
And honestly, there’s nothing quite like the adrenaline that big waves bring.

A couple of weeks ago, for the first time, I got to experience Portugal in a completely different way.
I explored the Algarve coast, saw those unreal beach cliffs, and even places like Ericeira, spots I thought I already knew, from a whole new perspective.

I was pretty surprised with the beauty of the sunny coast of the Algarve and its surf, which welcomed us with heavy offshore winds and a decent-sized swell.

Same country, totally different feeling.

What a day!
Less than 24 hours earlier I was in a small town in the south of the UK… then a last-minute call came in. Next thing I know I’m on a train, then a plane, landing in Portugal close to midnight.

Couple hours of sleep, in the harbor by 7am. By midday we were up on the cliffs shooting, and the show from up there was unreal.

Perfect day to close this Nazare season.
