Hey chatgpt can you write a caption for saturdays wedding include that I dont think I laughed and cried as much at a wedding, how the whole room was full of some of the most amazing people I've ever met, that the couple are literal gifts to this planet and I'm a better person just by knowing them. That I literally had to tell myself to leave hours after my time was done cos I was just having so much fun and that it will probally go down as one of my favorite weddings ever!!! 2 of the most laid back people you'll ever meet in your life and definitely the best thing penny's has produced in the last 21 years (they met in work for context) I had the the best day with this lot on Wednesday. No tricks, no fuss, just two people who know who they are and what they have in life and thats eachother and one amazing family. And I think little Remy might be my actual spirit animal 🤣

First dance favourites.....

The idea of dancing infront of everyone bloody terrifies me I won't even lie ha so fair play to any couple that does it. But here is a tip for all you introvert thats want to have one but might struggle.

Pick a song that has a slow version and a dancy remix version. Ask your dj to mix the two together that gives you the abillty to have one half of the song as your first dance and then for the second half you can get all your favourite people up dancing with you as quick as. But also let your photographer know you will do it cos 30 secs of a song makes getting those shots a little tighter haha

Sometimes two people will come along and teach you more about love in one day than any book or movie could in a life time.

I'm at a stage in my life where you start to look to the future and what you might leave behind in this world. What impact you have on the people in your life and the strangers you interact with on a daily basis. What will people say about you in the rooms you're not in. What I do hope is that when I eventually hang up my cameras that my couples know I told the truth of their story. That I wasn't something else than what I sold myself as and that I created memories that will last way beyond them and me

Could September be the ultimate month for weddings??

Besides all the best people are born in September (cough cough .... ME 😊) September just offers the best of all worlds for weddings in my opinion. Dry weather, not too cold, autumn colours and the perfect time for sunset photos so you get to just dance your night away.

Meet the team.....

Where as I am the face behind Forged in Love it doesnt work without my team. The ones who keep me on the straight and narrow and the ones I do this for in the first place.

Last year I was heaping pressure on myself. I kept saying I want to be great, I need to be great, how do i get to greatness. And two people asked me two specific questions that have stuck with me ever since. The 1st was what did greatness mean to me? And the second was who am i trying to be great for?

I'm still searching for the answer to the first question but I definitely have realised the real answer to the second question and it is for the 2 others in the pictures above. And I think we sometimes can forget why or who we do this for. So be a little kinder to yourselves, tell the ones you love more often that you do, get outside and breath some air and (this is more for me) get off the bloody phone !!!
