Photos taken on the 21st of June and 11th/19th of July.
First sightings of NLCs from portlaoise were on the night of June 21st from the mountrath road.I had about 30mins shootng time but clouds pushed in soon after that.
The next sighting of the NLCs were on July 11th from Dunamase along with Comet Neowise.Neowise had been gracing our skies through the month of July but it was hard to catch due to cloud lying lowing the north until the 11th..I'm actually smiling thinking back on that night,to get NLCs Type 5 and Neowise in the one go :) ..that night it never got daark..i finally got into my bed just after 5am.
My final set of shots of Neowise were on the night of July 19th,when myself and Gilly Guilfoyle braved the bitter cold and frost for two hours, but it was a fun two hours and wrapped up (for me) Neowise's and the NLCs adventure for 2020..roll on 2021 :)
