Today I tried a ready-made lunch from for the first time, and I have to say it was a real surprise! I had a Turkey & Stuffing with mashed potatoes and extra gravy, and it was simply delicious. The very tender turkey, the tasty stuffing, the creamy mash and the perfectly balanced gravy made every bite a pleasure.

It doesn’t even seem like a takeaway: the quality and taste are those of a restaurant, but with the convenience of enjoying it at home. Toastie also confirms itself as an excellent choice for a high-level ready-made lunch. Kudos to the attention to detail and the passion you put into every dish!

If you are looking for something good, made with care and ready to eat, I absolutely recommend it!

And here is my first still life photograph.
I was inspired by Michelangelo Merisi, known as Caravaggio, trying to recreate the famous "chiaroscuro" (light and dark). In this photo I put all my Italian being, the love for classical art and good food 😍

Rock of Cashel, also known as St. Patrick's Rock or Cashel of the King, is a suggestive fortress near the town of Cashel, in County Tipperary. It is one of Ireland's most famous archaeological sites.

Cashel is the anglicized version of the Gaelic term caiseal, which means fortress, probably in reference to the ancient bastion of the Celtic resistance against the Christianization of the area.

unfortunately the site was closed for "covid19" but fortunately I had my trusted drone friend with whom I was able to take some photos!πŸ˜‰!

And here I am in Rock of Dunamase! Spectacular views of the surrounding countryside make the towering Rock of Dunamase a strategic place to build a fortress.
A little history of the place:
Through the centuries, warriors have fought to control this site.
The Rock of Dunamase is a popular historic attraction found overlooking the valley of the O’Moores, just outside Portlaoise, County Laois. It was the location of an early Christian settlement known as Dun Masc and later became an important Anglo Norman fortification ecc ecc πŸ˜…
I ignored all this ... πŸ™ƒthe reason that led me to research and visit this beautiful place was the fact that these ruins were the film set of one of my favorite childhood films : Darby O'Gill and the Little People 😍
