are back in 2025 with another incredible on-location workshop event!
This is an event for both cosplayers and photographers, held at Doneraile Wildlife Park in co. Cork.
There will be two sessions, Morning (10am - 1pm) and Afternoon (2pm - 5pm). If you wish toparticipate in both please contact to discuss session availability.

How it works:
Attendees will be split into mixed groups of cosplayers & photographers and will be re-shuffled periodically, so everyone will have a chance to work together.
The entry fee is €15 per participant, with a €5 discount for CPAI members.
There are no changing facilities on site.

Date: 13th April 2025
Location: Doneraile Wildlife Park in co. Cork

At CPAI we have five main goals:

📷 Create a safe community space for people with an interest in Cosplay Photography to share ideas, connect and collaborate.

📷 Offer a collective voice to advocate for Cosplay Photographers operating within the isle of Ireland.

📷 Provide educational support and hands-on learning opportunities for beginners.

📷 Improve working relationships between Cosplayers and Photographers.

📷 Promote Irish creatives to a greater audience through online presence and attendance at comic conventions.

How do we plan to achieve this?

We’ve been busy planning behind the scenes and are currently working on the following projects:

- Cospraoi
- Tabling at Domestic Conventions
- Representing Ireland at International Conventions
- Creating Photography Events

Building a solid foundation is important to us for future growth and we hope you’ll join us as we develop!

The Cosplay Photographers Association of Ireland (CPAI) is a volunteer-led, non-profit organisation founded by Liam Dunne and Amy Shearer, that strives to connect photographers of all experience levels across the Irish Cosplay Community with a goal of showcasing the isle’s creative output to a larger, international audience.

The CPAI is committed to advocate for the best interests of the Cosplay Community, a community we are also active members in. CPAI members will be held to be the golden standard in Cosplay Photography, provide not only a safe space at conventions, and a safe environment on-location, but we will advocate for and educate others on ethical photography at conventions. The CPAI will be hosting panels, tables, and other types of workshops at conventions and online in an attempt to better our niche.

Are you a cosplay photographer based in Ireland?
Yes? Then we want you!

We are interested in hearing from cosplay photographers of all ability levels who operate on the isle of Ireland and would like to get more involved in our cosplay community.

Here’s what you can expect from your membership:
A profile listed on our website to promote your work to new clients
📸 A CPAI seal to use on your website/social media
📸 Support and advice from our network of talented cosplay photographers
📸 Opportunities to be featured on our socials and in our zine
📸 Opportunities to represent the CPAI at conventions and judge competitions

Does it cost anything?
Membership for 2025 will be a total of €12 (that's €1 a month paid upfront) This will help us cover the cost of promoting our members work, and allow us to allocate funding towards exciting new projects.Sounds good! What now?

We require prospective applicants to be over the age of 18, so if that's true for you, read on. You can find our Constitution and By-Laws at:

www.cpai.ie/about-us

Please read these over in full before filling out the application form. All prospective new members will undergo a probation period lasting 30 days where you will be given access to the instagram group chat. Here you can get to know us and we can get to know you!

Upon completion of the probation period a member of the committee will link you to the CPAI paypal account and upon receipt of fees payment you will become a fully fledged member with website portfolio and a social media shout out.

Deadline: January 31st 2025
(If you miss it, don't worry, applications will open again in June!)
