Yesterday I showed you the little adventure. Now here’s the magic.

Did you know your family photoshoot doesn’t have to take place in the studio? We can head to the woods, the beach, your favourite park or even your own back garden.

Outdoor family photoshoots are full of movement, fun and all those lovely moments that happen naturally when children are free to explore and play. It feels more like a dreamy day out together, with beautiful family portraits captured along the way.

These are the finished images from our afternoon in the woods.

Think your children misbehave during family photos? Even the photographer’s children misbehave… especially when they’re three adult sons who woke up in a bad mood!

There was shrugging, repeated instructions, complete disinterest and some very questionable brotherly encouragement. 😂

But we got there in the end, we have some amazing family portraits and, as always, it was absolutely worth it.

The chaos behind the portraits is part of the memory too. ❤️

Welcoming a new baby is one of the biggest moments in your family's story.

It's not just about beautiful portraits of your newborn. It's about capturing this season exactly as it is, with proud big brothers and sisters, sleepy cuddles, tiny fingers wrapped around yours, and the love that suddenly feels even bigger.

These are the photographs your children will treasure together years from now.

If you're expecting, get in touch before your baby arrives. We book newborn sessions months in advance, but if you've left it late, still give us a call and we'll always do our best to fit you in.

The newborn stage lasts only a few weeks.

Those curled-up poses.
The tiny fingers.
The sleepy stretches.

Before long they're smiling, rolling, crawling and keeping you on your toes.

If you're expecting a baby and would love newborn portraits, don't wait until baby arrives to get in touch. My diary often fills several months in advance.

That said, if your little one is already here and you've just realised you forgot to book, give me a call. I can't promise, but I'll always do my best to squeeze you in.
