Want to know the biggest mistake new parents make?

Waiting until baby arrives to think about newborn photos.

The ideal time for a newborn photoshoot is within the first 2 weeks.

If you wait until baby arrives to try book your newborn session, it might be too late as slots are limited.

If you reach out to me while you are still pregnant, I can book you in based on your due date and the latest information available to you on whether you are expected to go early or late or need to be induced.

I always keep wiggle room in my diary in case baby comes earlier or later than expected so will never be something that you need to worry about.

If you're due this autumn, now is the perfect time to reserve your session.

When Blessing rang me to book her newborn photoshoot, she wasn’t looking for a gallery full of photos.

She wanted 2 beautifully framed photos that she could treasure forever and admire each day on her wall.

So rather than trying to squeeze what she wanted into one of my existing packages, we created something specifically for her.

Imagine finding out your newborn photographer had let you down… just when you thought everything was booked.

That’s exactly what happened to baby Éala’s mum.

She contacted me in a panic after being let down by another photographer, worried that she had missed her chance to capture those precious first days with her new baby.

Thankfully, I had an upcoming slot available — and I was so happy to be able to welcome this beautiful family into the studio.

We captured all those little details of baby Éala, lots of gorgeous family moments and, of course, some very special photographs with her big brother Caoimhín.

Because those first few weeks really do pass in a blur.

Back in May, I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family as they celebrated a very special Communion day.

With family gathered at their home to celebrate, there was no need to pack everyone into the car, rush off to a studio or squeeze another appointment into an already busy day.

I brought the photoshoot to them.

Because these days aren't just about the beautiful dress or the ceremony.
They're about who was there. The hugs. The laughter. The grandparents. The cousins. The people your child will want to look back on and remember being surrounded by.
