A little piece of America came to Ireland... 🇮🇪❤️🇺🇸
When I was contacted all the way from America to photograph this very special family gathering in Killarney, I knew it was going to be something memorable. Four adult siblings travelled across the Atlantic with all of their children to surprise their parents, and what an incredible surprise it was!
We were blessed with a beautiful sunny Irish day, and over the course of our one-hour session we captured generations together, plenty of smiles, and memories they'll treasure forever.
Before the session, the family member who booked me admitted he was a little worried that all the children would be running in different directions and that getting everyone together would be impossible. But honestly... it wasn't an issue at all. 😊 Working with children of all ages is what I do every week, so I know how to keep things relaxed, fun and moving smoothly. Everyone did brilliantly, and we had such a lovely time together.
While I love creating natural, candid moments, every family is different. Sometimes the most important thing is having those beautiful traditional family portraits with everyone looking at the camera—and that's absolutely okay too. We always make time for both whenever possible.
