Take your partner by the hand
And step out on the floor.
Go forward and back, then turn around,
Little doggies hold onto that paw.
All the way around to the left to the right
Do a wiggle or a jiggle to the side,
Try the mash potato, or the Hully Gully,
Do a spin and wiggle that hide.
Shake those shoulders,
And bend those knees,
Wriggle, jiggle like you got fleas.
Don't be shy, there's no reason why,
Everybody come and have a go.
If you're feeling good, I think we really should,
Make a circle for the do-ci-dough!

Let's spread some blankets on the lawn
And lounge around together.
After all, it's not that often
We have picnic weather.
A hamper full of lovely things,
Sweet pies, and fruity tarts,
Ginger snaps, and strawberry shortbread
In the shape of hearts.
Cups of tea and fizzy pop,
Cheese sandwiches galore,
Apples, pears and broccoli,
And so much, so much more.
We'll chat a bit, and read a bit
Doze off a bit and then,
We'll hope tomorrow's fine
So we can do it all again!

Peep behind the door
To see rehearsing ballerinas.
Shhhhhhh....don't let them know you're there,
Let's keep it just between us.
It's fascinating watching them,
And seeing what they do,
They're a total different species
Not at all like me and you.
Look at how the fix their shoes
And how they stretch their toes,
The practice to make sure that all
The effort never shows.
Their aiming for perfection,
The very best they can .
It would never do to be just good,
Or just an also- ran!

An itch and a twitch, I saw a real witch,
As I opened up the shutter.
Surly not? Have I lost the plot?
I couldn't help but stutter!
But I think you will find ,
That she looked rather kind,
And so I had no need to worry.
But nevertheless, to not cause distress
I bid her farewell in a hurry!

I wondered through a meadow,
To find the perfect spot.
A bumble bee came buzzing by
And made me feel quite hot!
I finally found a shady tree
And set up at my leisure,
To lake in all the loveliness
Was truly such a pleasure.
The tufted vetch, and clover,
The poppies, and cornflowers,
The pretty daisies here and there
I lost myself for hours.
Oh the joy of nature,
The gift of simple things.
It really makes you feel at peace,
With all the calm it brings.
