Four little personalities.
One very red drawer.
And approximately three seconds where everybody looked in the same direction at once.
These are the kinds of photographs that feel even more special years later — when tiny faces, sibling dynamics and little in-between stages have already changed again.

Anyone thinking of going to The Creative Recharge this July but missed out on booking — this could be a really lovely opportunity.
I’m sadly no longer able to attend due to a serious knee injury and surgery this week, so I’m looking to transfer my place.

I was paying my ticket in instalments, so I’m very open to someone paying me in instalments too rather than everything upfront if that helps financially.

You would only be paying for the main retreat ticket — the Marta Ponsko workshop spot and accommodation are on me.

I’m honestly gutted to miss it as it is such an amazing event, but I’d really love for someone else to enjoy the experience instead.

A little unexpected pause.

I’ve just had surgery to repair a serious tear in my left knee and will be unable to put any weight on my leg for at least six weeks.

As my work is very physical, I need to temporarily pause taking new bookings while I focus on recovery and get a clearer idea of when I’ll be back in the studio.

July is already fully booked, and I may need to reschedule some June sessions. I’ll be in touch with any affected clients directly.

These early days can feel like a blur, but there is something so special about capturing the way your baby fits perfectly in your arms right from the beginning.

Lost in a moment.

A photo like this might look simple, but there’s a lot behind it.

A newborn session is never about rushing through poses or expecting baby to just “co operate”. It’s about working with them, not against them. Keeping them warm, settled, comfy, and giving them the time they need.

Sometimes that means pausing for cuddles. Sometimes for a feed. Sometimes for a little reset because baby has firmly decided they’re in charge for a minute.

And that’s completely fine.

Because beautiful newborn photos start with a baby who feels safe and content. Everything else comes after that.
