Took this picture this afternoon while on a walk in Rosscahill Woods. I am still very new to bird watching, but I believe this is a Blackbird.

Please let me know in the comments if it is something else, the white feathers are throwing me a bit 🙏

When I got the shots onto my computer I notice the berries in its beak 🫐 Zoom in to spot them 🔍

Couldn’t decide which was my favourite, so here are my top 4 from Sunday. My wife and I found a lovely spot to stop and sit for a little bit in Glenbower Woods.

Nearly as soon as we sat down, this little Robin came along and hoped from branch to branch singing and bathing in the river.

Hard to believe it was only in October my wife and I were in Australia, feels like so long ago now. I was just amazed by all of the colourful birds everywhere.

We took a spin down to a town called Bright in Victoria, and the trees would rustle from all the King Parrots eating berries. I must have spent an hour just taking pictures.

I had a lovely weekend away in the UK with my wife last week. We stayed in a stunning cottage outside Wirksworth surrounded by sheep, lambs and meadows. Not to mention the weather!

But from day 1 I was just obsessed with this tree, and was fortunate enough to catch the moon overhead and then a hot air balloon the next day 😱
